The Song of the Rainbow Hotsprings was established as a kind of Samanayr capital. It contains the largest permanent population of Samanayrs in the world - about 200 of them - and welcomes numerous visitors daily. It is a place for Samanayrs to meet and mingle, to make new friends and face new enemies, to build up Songs and trade information on where the warmest pools are, where the Oquiesase are hiding. Festivals and events also take place every so often, with participants from the nearby Sharian capital of Shar and, some say, even participants from other worlds.
The Hotsprings cover a rather large area in the forest, with numerous magically-created hotsprings and pools. There are some structures for the resident Sharians, but most of the area is undeveloped. For the benefit of non-Samanayr visitors, territories are clearly marked, and it's best to not cross into a stallion's territory! They may be small, but they can certainly be loud.
